Description
Addutera
In Telugu weddings, bride and groom perform Puja separately until the jeelakarra Bellam ritual. Bride and groom are not allowed to see each other until the muhurtham. Addutera is a white cloth used as a partition between the bride and groom. Instead of plain cloth, traditional designs or names or bride and groom are hand painted/printed on the Addutera. A net cloth with stone work or Jasmine Flower net is also being used as Addutera.
