Gariga munta is an earthen pot and is used in a ritual in Telugu weddings. The name “Gariga” means “Pot”. This pot is considered as goddess Gauri and is prayed by the bride on the day prior to wedding. Prayers are offered to Gariga muntha by the couple during the wedding and are sent along with the bride to her in-laws house.
